Our onsite fire safety training courses are specifically designed to enable business owners and employers to comply with the statutory requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. All courses will provide delegates with an understanding of the components of a suitable and sufficient fire safety risk assessment within their workplace.


We currently offer the following onsite fire safety training courses:

Fire Extinguisher Training Course

Duration: Approx 1.5hrs


• Triangle of Fire.
• Fire Development/Behaviour.
• Human Behaviour in Fire
• Importance of Fire Safety in the Workplace.
• Classification of Fires.
• Types of Extinguisher/blankets.
• Safety Limitations.
• Dynamic Risk Assessment.
• Evacuation Procedures (including Horizontal and Vertical Evacuation).
• Question & Answer Session.
Optional Onsite Fire Safety Training Extra:
Practical – Using Real Fire Gas Simulator*
• Extinguishing Class “A” Type Fires.
• Extinguishing Class “B” Type Fires.
• Extinguishing Electrical Type Fire (TV/PC monitor/toaster fire)
• Demonstration Use of Fire Blanket. (weather permitting)

Basic Fire Safety Training Course

Duration: Approx 2 hours

Topics Covered:

• Current Fire Safety Legislation – Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
• Fire Risks in the premises
• Fire Safety measures on the premises
• Fire Emergency Plans
• Good housekeeping
• Maintaining means of escape
• Arson awareness and reduction
• Identity of persons nominated to assist with evacuation
• Identity of person nominated to use fire extinguishing appliances
• Question and Answers Session

Fire Warden Training London

Duration: 4 Hours

Course Content:

• All items covered under Basic Fire Awareness
• Importance of Fire Safety in the Workplace.
• Triangle of Fire
• Fire development/behaviour
• Classification of fire and safe use of flammable substances
• Types of Extinguishers, location and use of fire extinguishers/fire blankets.
• Safety Limitations
• Duties of a fire Marshal/Warden
• Fire drills
• Human behaviour in fire
• Evacuation procedures Stopping processes/isolating power in the event of fire
• Importance of fire doors
• Significant findings of your fire risk assessment
• Routine fire safety checks and log books
• Questions and Answers Session
